Personal privacy is of critical importance to TimeIn, Inc. Please read the following information to review TimeIn's privacy policy.

Notice: The TimeIn web site is still in a beta test phase. At this time the email opt-out and account deletion features are not currently available.
What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how TimeIn treats personal information that we collect and receive. Personal information is information about you, or others that you provide, that is personally identifiable like name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that TimeIn, Inc does not own or control, or to people that TimeIn that are not employed or managed by TimeIn.
Information Collection and Use
Registration
TimeIn collects personal information when you register with TimeIn, when you use TimeIn product and services, when you visit TimeIn pages or the pages of certain TimeIn partners. TimeIn may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies.
When you register we ask for your name, email address and a new password. Your email address will become your login ID for accessing the TimeIn website. As part of the registration process TimeIn will send a confirmation email to the address provided with a unique link that must be followed to complete your registration.
Thorough the use of TimeIn products and services you may be entering personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, calendar events, journal entries, etc. This information is never shared with other companies. None of this information is shared with other registered TimeIn users or public users unless specifically shared by you.
Orders
If you sign up for fee services or purchase products directly provided by TimeIn you must provide personal information such as name and address and billing information such as credit number, billing address and expiration date. This information is used for billing purposes. Order confirmations will be sent to the default user email account. If we have trouble processing an order we will use this information to contact you. Any entry of financial information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
TimeIn collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners.
Log Files
As is true for most Web sites TimeIn automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, browser type, TimeIn cookie information, and the page you request.
TimeIn uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content and advertising you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, troubleshoot problems, conduct research, and provide anonymous internal reporting.
Communications from the Site
Updates and Special Offers
TimeIn will occasionally send you information on new TimeIn features, products, and services. Out of respect for your privacy we provide you the option to opt-out of these types of emails.
Service-related Announcements
We will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. You do not have the option to opt-out of these communications. If you do not wish to receive such communications, you have the option to delete your user account.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
TimeIn does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission.
Legal Disclaimer
We reserve the right to disclose your personal identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.
Cookies
TimeIn sets and accesses TimeIn cookies on your computer. We use both a session ID cookie and persistent cookies. Generally cookies are used to improve the user experience, for instance, storing last accessed pages. For instance, we set a persistent cookie to remember your login ID so you do not have to enter it the next time you access the TimeIn web site. No personal information other than login ID is stored in a cookie.
TimeIn may allow companies that show advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one. Advertisers or other companies do not have access to TimeIn cookies.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
You can edit your TimeIn account preferences at any time.
You can delete your TimeIn account from the account preferences page. Once an account has been deleted there will be no way to reinstate or recover the account and any information that had been entered. Deletion of your account does not remove your information from our retained backup data.
Confidentiality and Security
We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
Protecting the privacy of children is very important to TimeIn. For that reason and to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, the TimeIn Site is only available to users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect or maintain information at our web site from those under 13 years of age.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
TimeIn may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the default email address specified in your TimeIn account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
